West Bromwich Mountaineering Club

Welcome to WBMC!

The West Bromwich Mountaineering Club is based in the heart of the West Midlands. We have a diverse membership of over 200 people ranging from children to retirees who take part in a wide variety of activities, including mountaineering, rock climbing, hill walking, skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, and camping. We welcome complete beginners and experienced mountaineers alike.

We run monthly coach meets to places such as Snowdonia, the Lake District, the Peak District, and other areas, as well as a wide range of mountaineering and social events. The club also boasts a comfortable Club Hut at the foot of Snowdon.

We can be found every Thursday night from 9pm at The Red Lion in West Bromwich. Feel free to pop in and ask for the Mountaineering Club. We look forward to meeting you!
